How we weigh human trials, reviews, ingredient studies, mechanistic research and manufacturer statements.
We give more weight to relevant human research and systematic reviews than to mechanistic, animal or cell findings. We also consider dose, formulation, population, duration and study limitations.
What we do not do
We do not invent product testing, testimonials, medical credentials, pricing, clinical outcomes or user experiences. When information can change, readers should verify it at the original source.
